In the process of rock drilling, only the drill bit is always in contact with the rock and plays the important role of breaking the rock. How to choose the right drill bit is indeed a problem. It requires technology and experience.
The basic structure of a countersink bit is: alloy ball teeth, gas (water) holes, slag discharge grooves, and threads.
There are several types of drill bits:
1. According to the shape of the head, it can be divided into ordinary flat type, concave type, and convex type.
Ordinary flat type: widely used.
Recessed type: suitable for straighter gun holes in medium hard rocks
Convex type: suitable for rocks with strong abrasiveness
2. According to the shape of the handle, it can be divided into: straight handle type and easy return type.
Straight-handle: suitable for complete formation.
Easy return: suitable for broken formations.
3. According to the shape of the alloy, it can be divided into: ball tooth type and slice tooth type.
Ball tooth types are: hemispherical tooth and bullet tooth
The cymbal teeth type are: Cross type and X type
4 According to the diameter of the ball teeth, the drills of the same caliber and the same structure can be divided into: light, medium, heavy and super heavy.
