Piston Air Compressor Works Principle:
Driver (electric motor or diesel engine) is started to drive the compressor through the flexible coupling rotating crankshaft, crank rotational movement of the crankshaft into a linear reciprocating motion of the piston. When the piston from the top dead point downward movement ended, the cylinder volume gradually expanded, cylinder pressure decreases. When less than the external pressure, the pressure difference of the intake valve automatically opens, air is sucked into the cylinder. When the piston upward from the bottom dead center BDC movement, cylinder volume shrinking, cylinder pressure gradually increased, the intake valve is automatically closed, the exhaust valve is gradually opened to discharge the compressed air intercooler (a) or cylinders (two), the completion of compression, and exhaust.
Basic structure
(1) The body: it is based on the positioning of the air compressor components, from the body and the crankcase and other parts.
(2) Transmission mechanism: the clutch, pulleys or couplings and other gear and crankshaft, connecting rod,crosshead moving parts.
(3) Compression mechanism: the cylinder, the piston assembly, inlet and exhaust valves and other components.
(4) Lubricating mechanism: the pump, oiler, oil filters and coolers and other components.
(5) Cooling system: air-cooled mainly by the cooling fan (crankshaft driven by the pulley) and intercooler and other components.
(6) The steering control system: it includes unloading valves, unloading valves, the load (pressure) regulator such as adjusting means; valve, instrumentation; lubricating oil, the cooling water and the exhaust gas pressure and temperature, sound and light alarm and automatic shutdown protection device; auto exhaust water devices.
